"Will these hats work for Easter, Grandma?"
|
Easter was extra special this year. The family had not been gathered for over six months due to COVID19 so when we gathered to celebrate Easter...the tears well up as a write...I cannot find words to express my joy. My heart is still overflowing from the precious memories.
I believe in Christ, like I believe in the sun not because I can see it, but by it I can see everything else. C. S. Lewis

The weather was one of those perfect spring days. I had planned an outdoor Easter egg/treasure hunt for the "grand" grands so I was grateful for the lovely day.
Tim and I put out the eggs and hid the treasure hunt bags before everyone arrived. Tim was told by his nephews to make the eggs and bags hard to find, so he did as he was told.
A treasure bag.

And they're off!

(L to R) Tim, Caleb and Tamara watching the hunters race by.

Examining the loot!

Give this lad a book and he is lost to the world.

The munchkins wearing some of the stuff they got in their bags.
|
Just chillin' on Grandpa's lap.
|
As is usual, some great, intellectually stimulating conversations took place!
|
Let's play catch Grandpa!
|
Each one is special no matter how big....
|
No matter how small.
|
Blessings,
Helen
